Pune weather is very pleasant (mildly cold, slight drizzles) now a days, perfect time for eating grilled corn on the cob. During the evening break I stepped out of EON IT Park looking for grilled corn on the cob, unfortunately I did not find any shop nearby serving grilled corn on the cob. But my attention was caught by a super crowded shop just opposite of EON IT Park. Out of curiosity I went to the shop to check what they were selling. The name of the shop was Yewale Chaha (Yewale Tea).
This joint sells only tea and nothing else, not even cookies or toasts that are traditionally consumed with tea in India. I decided to have one cup of Yewale tea, it cost just ₹10. It is very very reasonably priced given the location of the joint, all other food vendors charge ₹10-₹20 more because of high rents in the area. The tea was awesome.
Later I shared the information about the joint to my team mates, one of my team member who is an expert on tea (He is the kind of guy who gets headache if he does not get good tea) confirmed my feedback about the quality of tea.
If you are visiting Pune you should try the Yewale tea, its tagline says the same – Try it once.
