A friend who works for Dar Al-Handasah in Pune, shared this story about his fellow colleagues in Beirut, Lebanon:
The gas prices are very high in Beirut, people are spending almost 40% of the salary on gas. There is no reliable source of electricity, one of the colleagues is getting solar panels installed for electricity generation. There is shortage of medicines, colleagues are obtaining medicines on overseas trip to countries like Egypt and India. One of the colleagues is planning to visit India on business trip and would be carrying back as many medicines as possible.
